Camden's first haircut!

On May 6th Camden got his first haircut. We are going to Hawaii at the end of June and were planning on growing it out until after the trip. However, it got to the point where it was always in his face. It can be a bit windy on the islands so I knew I would be constantly pushing it out of his eyes. We buckled down and got it done. Haley was his "stylist" at Jack & Jill's Salon. It was a very cute place--decked out in bright colors and fun seats for the kids (fire truck, scooter, jeep, etc.). We left with a certificate that included a picture and lock of hair. Camden did great! He got a little emotional at the end...there are a few possibilities for why this happened (a) he had croup and would have little moments of just needing a hug because he wasn't feeling well (b) he looked in the mirror and got a little nervous about what was happening (c) he just felt like getting teary-eyed.

Love it! He got a lot of compliments about that hair!

Ready to go!

The first snip!

Almost done.

See a, b, and c above to explain this photo.

All done! He wanted to test out all of the other "chair" options before we left.

We waited until Daddy was home from Seattle to share in the big moment.

The finished product.

Lookin' good, buddy!
