Yee-haw!

Camden's class had a "Hoe Down" on Halloween.  It was so cute! They sang songs and square danced...I loved it (and so did Parker).  Camden is loving school!

Camden and his buddy, Max.  They're getting lined up to square dance.

"Get your arms ready!"  Max isn't messing around!

Cameron (purple block), Connor (red block), Ian (blue block), and Daniel...some of his buds (the best pic I could get)

Pasta...

...makes this kid happy!

Just one of the many differences between our boys!  You would never see Camden (a) eating pasta and (b) this messy!  Never.

The Hatchery

As most of you know, salmon are a big deal around these parts. It was a beautiful afternoon so we decided to hit up the hatchery before it was really crazy during and after "Salmon Days."  We were loving this abnormally warm September weather!

Parker checking out the fish swimming upstream

Camden and Daddy watching the fish jump

Nothing like a huge salmon statue...it just screams "photo op"

My boys.  Parker in his own world doing his own thing...shocker!

 "Fishy...touch it!"

Watching the "successful salmon"--the ones who made it upstream

Check out Parker.  He's playing peek-a-boo with the fish :)

Scooter Dude!

This boy loves riding his scooter!  I'm pretty impressed with how well he maneuvers that bad boy!  He flies down the hills, goes off the curb (it's curved, of course), and does doughnuts in the middle of the street!  I'm so thankful we live in a neighborhood where he can ride all over the place and not worry about cars (very often).  He's ready for the skatepark!

Flashback Friday--Halloween 2011

I can't believe Halloween is in less than a week!  Where has this year gone?  Here are some pics of our little golfer and monkey from last Halloween (because it's Flashback Friday and I never posted these last year...sad).  There are a lot more of Parker than Camden for a couple of reasons: 1) it was Parker's first Halloween and 2) Camden was (is) not into posing for pictures and Parker was not mobile.  It's so fun to look back on these photos of my little guys!  A special shout out to Matt and Whit for letting us borrow Jacob's awesome monkey costume.  Thank you!

 My babies

Parker, "Hey brother, what kind of smile is that?"

 Parker is quite the chubs!

 My happy monkey

The golfer is ready to go trick-or-treating!

 Love them!

We do an annual "Halloweenie Roast" with friends...lots of kids and lots of fun!

 Getting candy (for Mommy)! :)

 Monkey photo shoot...

Camden's 4th birthday party

We celebrated Camden's 4th birthday at the park (my favorite place to have parties...no need to plan games/activities because the park entertains the kids.  Plus I don't have to clean my house afterwards)!  Ebright Creek Park is one of my favorites!  It's beautiful and has a great play area.  The day started out a little gloomy (which has been rare the last couple of months--we've had amazing weather), but turned out to be perfect by party time.  Grammy was here to celebrate with us.  Thanks, Mom, for all of your help!  We definitely missed the other grandparents, but we are always thankful when any of them make it to his party.  He loves having them there.  In fact, he asked, "Are any of my other grandparents coming my party?"  Fire trucks were the theme this year!  It was fun to plan and I loved the bright colors (think back to our wedding 8 years ago and these were the flower colors)! :)  I cannot believe he's four, I cannot believe this was his 3rd birthday in WA, and I cannot believe I get the opportunity to raise this fella with my hubs!  We love our big guy more than words can express!
