Cheekwood

Jeremy and Sara took us to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens while we were in Nashville. We were very impressed by their willingness to take us out and about with their new little man. It was a great place...quiet and beautiful! It's going to be even better in about a month when everything has bloomed. Thanks for the fun outing, Jer, Sar, and Dylan!

Dylan was a champ! We were happy to join him on his first trip to the gardens.

Dylan Fans

Last week (March 22-25), Jonathan and I went to Nashville to meet our sweet nephew, Dylan. He is already 8-weeks-old and is absolutely adorable! He is so tiny (I can't believe I went back to work when Camden was this exact age) and makes the best little baby noises! We are so grateful for the time we had with him and his Mommy and Daddy, of course! Here are a few pics of Dylan with some of his biggest fans (he has a lot).

I love him!

Grammy time

Camden has been blessed with amazing grandparents! Here he is spending some quality time with Grammy at the end of February. She made the trek down to CO to surprise me for my birthday. It was a quick visit, but so great to have her here. We had plans to go out to dinner with friends, so it was awesome to have a babysitter on hand! Camden always has fun with Grammy!

Boca and Banana

Camden loves Boca (veggie) Burgers! Most of the time, he will eat the entire patty. Here are a few pics of him enjoying one followed by a banana--still one of his favorites!

17 months!

On March 3rd, Camden turned 17 months and Daddy turned 29! What a day to celebrate! Our little guy is an official walker and he is loving the freedom of being upright. One of the cutest things is watching him toddle around in his footed PJs...love it! His hair is getting longer, his mouth is getting full of teeth, and his personality is shining! He loves making animal sounds, pats his head for a hat when he knows we are going bye-bye, mimics what Mommy and Daddy do more and more (notice the toothbrush in hand in the pics), has a stubborn streak, loves to laugh, continues to love music and books, bath time is still a fave (he grabs the bubbles out of the cupboard once the water is running), loves being outside, and he always seems to have a ball in his hands or at least nearby. He moved up to the next class at My Gym because he is a walker. He is always excited to go and has become a lot more comfortable exploring the gym on his own. Camden is a cautious kid, but once he's comfortable, he goes all out! We are loving every minute with our sweet boy. It is such a blessing to have him in our lives, he adds so much joy! We love you, Camden James!

17-months-old...time continues to fly!

Just chillin' in the glider

Fake laugh...such a character!

"Camden, where is your nose?"

Auntie Lis and Uncle Philip

Around the 3rd week of February, my fabulous friend from college, Alisa, came to Denver with her equally fabulous fiance, Philip. That was a mouthful! We were so happy to have them here! They met Camden for the first time and he loved them right away...of course! Thanks for visiting you two!

Showing Uncle Philip his bells

Camden loves anyone who will read to him (I love both of their faces in this pic)

Lis and Philip are laughing because I was trying to get a pic of the three of them and Camden just wasn't having it

He wanted to play with his ball instead

Love you, Lis!

Static, Shoulder, and Snot

These pics where taken in February. Camden was a bit sick (hence the snot), but it didn't keep him from rolling around on the couch, which caused the static in his hair. The shoulder? You'll see!

That's quite the face! It gives you a good look at the static.

"Camden, where's your shoulder?" There it is! This is what he does, a little shoulder shrug (always on the right side) when we ask him.

More static

A nice close-up...notice the crusty nose. Lovely.

Taking a break. Playing is hard work!

iPhoto Frustration!

Hello faithful readers! I apologize for the lack of posts lately. I am having trouble with iPhoto...it randomly started flipping all of my vertical pics. When I try to upload them, they are upside down. Very frustrating! I would love any tips/advice you may have to help me out because I have some photos I'm itching to post.
