Awww...beautiful summer days in the great NW! Love them! They are perfect for playing at the park. On this particular day we hit up two--one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It warmed up so Cam had to do a little costume change. This kid loves the park (he says "Yay!" and starts clapping once it's in sight) and is especially fond of the swings.

Pike Place Market
We wanted to give my Mom a little taste of Seattle before she headed home (she was very sweet to just hang out with Camden and me at home because my car was still in transit and Jonathan had to go to work). It was time to get out on the town and go to Pike Place Market. We walked through all of the people, fresh veggies, colorful fruit, and bouquets of flowers then we watched the guys throw the fish (some go there just to see this "event"). Camden also went on his first carousel ride.
He loves going cheek-to-cheek...can't you tell?!

May 25-26
Thankfully my Mom flew out to WA with Camden and me--I had a lot of stuff and a toddler, so I was very grateful to have her help. Camden seemed like his usual self until we got to the airport. I chalked it up to a busy morning of getting things ready and him sensing that something was going on. He went through all of his spare diapers before we even got on the plane and had a fever (we took him to the little medical center at the airport and they took his temp for us). I had Tylenol for him...in my checked bag. Ugh! So, we headed to the store and I was prepared to pay $10 for one little bottle. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single bottle in the whole airport--there had just been a recall and they were pulled from the shelf. So, we did what we could to keep him cool (hence the wet hair in the pics). Even though he wasn't feeling well, he was a trooper and was excellent on the plane. We landed in rainy weather so Camden sported a raincoat for the first time in his life! Here are a few pics of our travel day and first full day in WA.

Farewell to Friends
As you know, Camden and I moved to WA on May 25th. We were so glad to have some friends stop by on the 23rd and 24th to see us off. They are great people and we really miss them!
Lisa with her "little buddy," Cam. Camden loves her and spent a lot of time with Lisa--Bible study, junior high every Wednesday night, and just hanging out.

Pediatricians
I apologize, our posts will be all over the place because we have so much catching up to do. This one takes you back to the end of May in Colorado when Camden and I went to say good-bye to his pediatricians (sad)! We are so thankful for the time we had with them. They genuinely cared about our little guy and were very patient with his parents (especially when Camden was tiny and had reflux--they got a lot of phone calls from this crazy first time mama). Thankfully Camden has not needed a doc since we have been in WA so we haven't replaced these guys quite yet.
I'm not sure what Cam is doing, but here he is with Dr. Nichalson. This was our original doc, the one that was with Camden since birth. He's great! Very kind and gentle.
Dr. Kallio...love her! Out of the three docs, she is my favorite! She is a brand new pediatrician and knows her stuff! Dr. Kallio is the one who prescribed the nebulizer for Camden which stopped his coughing at night. She made me feel so comfortable and was willing to answer any and all questions to put my mind at ease. I miss her!

Family of Four
A blessing, a gift, the perfect fit for our family. Baby #2 is on the way! We are filled with emotions as we anticipate the arrival of our little bundle. We are so grateful God has entrusted us with another child and know he/she will be perfect for our family. In the same breath, we are a bit anxious about adding one more considering we are so unsettled right now. We are still in temp housing through Jonathan's company and our stuff is still in Colorado. It is a huge blessing to be living for free in WA while we continue to pay for our house back in the C-O. Right now we don't really have a place we call home. So, it's a little unnerving to be carrying a babe while feeling like things are so up in the air. The constant reminder in my head is that he/she will not be here tomorrow...we have time and things will work out. God is in control. Amongst the anxiousness is excitement! Finding out if Camden will have a baby brother or sister, hearing the strong heartbeat at appointments, seeing his/her sweet face for the first time, middle of the night snuggles, tiny toes, grunts and coos, and watching our big boy love on his sibling. Wonderful memories await!
The first picture below is how we shared the news with my parents. Unfortunatley, it didn't happen in person this time, but I was on the phone with them when they opened up the package. This photo was in a frame that said "Grandkids." They are thrilled!

I was shocked by the positive pregnancy test (it happened MUCH faster this time) and had to quickly come up with a way to share the news with the hubs. Camden and I moved to WA on May 25th and I took the test on June 4th. Needless to say, I didn't have many options because at this point I knew where Target, the grocery store, and Starbucks were. I told JB I got bored and decided to start a scrapbook page for Camden. I told him to look in a drawer to see my work. Inside was this piece of paper...
Like me, he was shocked!

We shared the news with Jonathan's mom, step-dad, bro, sis-in-law, nephew, step-sis, and niece while we were in Maui. Camden came out of the room wearing this shirt...
I don't know if you can see it amongst the drool--it says "big bro." It took them a while to catch on (which was hilarious), but once they did, they were super excited and there were hugs all around! In July, Jonathan's dad and step-mom came to visit. Camden came downstairs to greet them wearing the same shirt. Karen, his step-mom, knew what it meant right away and eventually dad got it too. They are so happy for us and our growing family.

The belly is definitely popping out much faster this time. My body knows the drill so it's ready to roll! Here I am at 8 weeks.

Right now I'm 16 weeks (pic to come soon) and due January 28th (just 2 days after our nephew's 1st birthday)! I emailed the girls...great friends from college...saying, "Just wanted to let you know I'm changing the title of our blog from The Bentley 3 to The Bentley 4." So girls, I'm finally doing it!

We missed week 12 because Jonathan was in Palm Springs with his boys, so week 13 it is! Camden got involved this time!

Mom, Mama, and GG

Happy 60th birthday! You are the best Mom (from your son), Mama (from me) and GG (from Camden) ever! We are so grateful for you. Your love, support, and guidance mean the world to us! You have treated me as a daughter since the day I met you--I remember being greeted by your beautiful smile and a warm hug. Those smiles and hugs continue to make me feel so loved. You are an incredible person and have been such a blessing to our family. Thank you for being you! Sidenote: you do NOT look 60 at all! We love you! Happy birthday!
