Christmas Day is extra special because it is a time to celebrate the birthdays of two of the most important individuals in my life--Jesus and my mom! We are so grateful for you, Mom! You are the best! I couldn't pray for a better role model, confidant, and supporter. Thank you for always being my biggest fan! You are an amazing Mom, Mom-in-law, and Grammy. I appreciate and love you so much! Hope you had a wonderful birthday...we missed celebrating with you!

Christmas Day
I am WAY behind on blogging (which seems to be the case the last few months). I'm going to start with Christmas day then work backwards a month or two...at least that's my plan.
So, here are some pics from Christmas (and a few from Christmas Eve). We had a great day! It was just the three of us this year. Although we missed our family, we enjoyed the time together. It's crazy to think that we will be a fam of four next year!
Charlie. We have never gone with this type of tree, but loved it!
Christmas Eve. Opening the last one on his advent calendar from Memaw. He LOVED this! Thank you, Memaw!
Opening his last 'door.' GG bought him this advent calendar and he loved it as well.
Making cookies for Santa!
Christmas morning. "Santa ate all!"
He drank all of his milk too!
Opening his Playtent from Grandpa and Memaw...thank you!
Digging in his stocking.
Who doesn't love a finger puppet?!
Lakers gear for baby brother from Grandpa and Memaw.
The fave...his garbage truck.
Sporting his smock from Papa and GG. Thank you! He's ready to paint!
Car ramp from Mommy and Daddy.
Making cupcakes to celebrate Jesus' birthday.
Trying so hard to be patient!
He ended the day with quite the fall. It's hard to see, but he had quite the bump on his head...poor feller!
I can't believe this little guy will be almost a year old next Christmas!
Merry Christmas from the Bentley Family!

Prego-week 34
Whoa! Hello belly!
I didn't take a pic at 32 weeks because we were in the process of moving and getting settled. During my pregnancy with Camden, 32 weeks was my last photo because I didn't make it to 36. This time, I'll do one every two weeks from here on out...I learned my lesson! On December 17th I was 34 weeks along. Everything looked great at my appointment and I'm so thankful. The doc measured me and said, "He's a big boy!" She assured me that it was the baby (not fluid, etc.) that was causing me to measure 36 weeks rather than 34. I know the measurements can be off, but he definitely has the potential to be big...considering his Daddy was almost 10 pounds and his Grandpa was 13! We shall see!

Things...
...you love, say, and do! You make us smile every day, sweet boy!
- Christmas-the music, Santa (except when it's picture time), Frosty, Rudolph, lights, the tree, your advent calendar, ornaments, baby Jesus, etc.
- "Oh my!"
- Cracking up...genuine, heartfelt laughter and buckling over and faking it
- Marching around the house while holding a golf club as an instrument
- Riding your new scooter from Gramps and Grammy
- Tigers
- Having visitors! You get really excited when Mommy and Daddy's friends come over and/or when family is here
- Using the "little vacuum" (Dustbuster) to get the "piles" (dirt swept by Mommy or Daddy)
- "Hi babe!" You've been saying this to Daddy lately and you think it's really funny...it is!
- Helping with anything and everything
- Having your "friends" eat and sleep with you (stuffed animals/people: white tiger, orange tiger, giraffe, Santa, and sheep)
- "Baby brother, come out!"
- Surprising others and being surprised
- "Yo!" This usually comes out when you're looking for Daddy
- Using your guitar stand as a microphone...hilarious!
- "Name?" How you ask for a name you forgot. Example: "Reindeer, red nose...name?"
- Your remote-control train from Gramps and Grammy
- Talking about your baby brother. The other day you told me you were going to give him "kisses, hug, high-five, pound"
- "Goooo?" When you're looking for something or someone. Example: "Orange tiger...goooo?" While holding up your hands in an "I don't know" position and shaking your head. Love it!
- Saying hi to strangers
There is so much more, but these are some of the things that come to mind. We love you, buddy!

Overheard
Gramps and Grammy bought Camden a book called Big Cats (he's really into them, especially tigers). While he and Grammy were reading it, this is what I heard...
G: "Ooooooohhh, look at the tiger's tail. Do you have a tail?"
C: "Noooo, wee-wee."
