Camden loves (and I mean LOVES) to be outside! He will bring me his "shz" (shoes), pat his head (for a hat), and say "bu" (bubbles) when he's ready to get out of the house. Here he is sporting his safari hat in the sunshine!

In mid-March, Camden and I headed over to Kristen's house for a play-date with her two kids, Owen and Reagan. Owen will be three in August and Reagan is just a little babe so she didn't do much playing (she did a lot of swinging). Owen was VERY excited to show Camden all of his cool toys. There were so many fun things to play with, but they still wanted the one toy the other kid had. All in all, they did a great job playing together.

Camden loves our vacuum at home, so he was all about this one that was just his size.

Staw

Camden loves "staws" (straws)! He isn't quite sure how to use one yet, but he definitely likes to play with them. If he sees one, he wants one. Every time we leave Target (which is often), we pass by the fountain machine and, without fail, he points and says, "Staw!"

This is how Grammy puts it in my mouth, so I'll try it too!

Wordless Wednesday

Stylin'

The past few days Camden has been really into his hats. He will point to one hanging on the hook then pat his head, signaling us to put it on. Just the other day, he bypassed the hats and went for his fleece (which is too small, but I haven't had the chance to pack it away). The second I picked him up out of his crib, he reached for the gray and orange wonder and pointed to his arm. That's all it took and he was sporting it. I loved the outfit: PJs, striped socks, and the fleece...he's stylin'!

18 months!

On April 3rd, our little one turned 18 months! We have a one and a half year old...can you believe it? I can't! I may have said this before, but he is becoming such a little boy! He is more independent, likes to bang on things, and wants to be outside all the time! Camden wants to be held less and walk more. Our little man used to sit back and relax in his stroller, now he signs "all done" approximately 20 seconds after I strap him in! He loves bubbles--in his bath and outside. Imitating is big right now and opinions are strong--this boy knows what he wants and when he wants it! New words are attempted daily. He can say a lot. Someone else might not have a clue what he's talking about, but I know! Here are a few: ball (his favorite), door (drr), shoes (shz), straw (staw), trash (tas), spoon (boo), water (wa), up (uuuhhh), balloon (boon), shirt (sirt), nigh nigh (night-night), star, and more! He often signs "please" and "thank you" without being prompted. Camden gives the best kisses and will still snuggle every once in a while. No matter how tired he is, he will be in a good mood when others are around. I could go on and on! We just love our busy little toddler! He is such a joy!
