31

On February 26th this mama turned 31! The only thing weird about this birthday was thinking about the fact that I turned 21 TEN years ago! Whoa! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was throwing back shots and getting trashed. Okay, not really, but it doesn't feel like that long ago. Anyway, the hubs did a great job making it a special day. As you know, Camden is really into birthday parties so Daddy took the little man to get some party hats and cupcakes for Mommy. They weren't just any ol' cupcakes, they were fancy (and delicious)! Later that night I spent some time with the girls to celebrate my 31st and Parker (the shower was originally scheduled for the day I went into labor). I was not thinking and didn't take a girl photo, but had a fabulous time (as always) with the ladies.

Notice the little finger in there!

So fancy!

Love my boys! Camden is excited!

We told him to try to hold still...he did.

Close to outgrowing his penguin sponge...already!

Loving the water!

Little ones really do grow up fast...everyone says it because it's true. I feel like it's going even faster with Parker than it did with Camden. The days just seem to fly by with two busy boys and I'm loving every minute!

At one month, Parker was super alert (I guess that's what happens when they are fully cooked). He loved being talked to, looking at books, watching his big brother, and being held...he could sleep through *almost* anything if someone was holding him. Bath time became a lot more fun once he could actually go in the water. As you can see from the pics, he digs it! Parker also liked having his diaper changed (a big change from week 1). He would just hang out and look around while on the changing table. Parker is our big boy! He weighed in at 12 pounds 6 ounces and measured 23.75 inches--off the charts for both! We are so in love with our baby boy!

Seattle Zoo

On February 21st the Bentley Fam, along with Gramps and Grammy, went to the Seattle Zoo for the first time. It was chilly, but we had a great time! I didn't take many pics because I was feeding Parker while the rest of the crew ventured off to see the animals, but here are a few. We are now members so more zoo photos will be coming!

"Ooo, aaahhh, aaahhh!"

More Faces

Parker was laying on the couch and was in and out of sleep. Here are some shots of our handsome little guy. He's about 3.5 weeks old.

Wide awake

Getting a little sleepy

Fading fast

Night-night!

Half awake

Sleep smile...love these!

All Aboard!

Camden was trying on hats and we (Gramps, Grammy, and Mommy) told him this one was cool because it's like the hats train conductors wear. We got home and Camden said, "Drive train." I thought he was confused because Grammy had just bought him a fire truck, but he knew what he was talking about. He proceeded to grab his remote-controlled train and sit on it. All aboard!

My Little One

I almost put "My Baby" for the title of this post, but I decided I couldn't because Camden is still my baby. I think both of my boys will always be my babies. So, here's the little one. I love this sweet chubs of mine!
So alert!

Just like his mama...

...this boy has a sweet tooth! Here's Camden taking on his first chocolate covered strawberry (courtesy of Gramps who sent them for his valentine, Grammy, while they were apart on the day of love). He is Mr. Picky when it comes to food, but he's willing to try anything sweet. Hmmmm...weird!
The first taste

Lip-smackin' good!

Loving it!

Going for it!
