Little Chef

First, you have to take in your surroundings. Don't rush into anything...a true chef is never in a hurry.

Then, you must stir it up! This takes focus and concentration. This is not a time to look around, keep your eyes on what you're preparing.

Finish it off with a scream and some fancy "air stirring." Bon appetite!

Snack Time!

We got hit with a pretty big storm at the end of October. We were left with about 2 feet of snow on the ground so, needless to say, it stuck around for a while (there are actually still some patches here and there on lawns). Camden was pretty intrigued by the white stuff falling from the sky and piling up on our deck. We decided to open the door and let him play in it for a bit. Before we knew it, it was in his mouth! He found his new favorite snack, all-natural of course, snow!

Digging in

Straight for the mouth

Delicious!

Cold mouth = flared nostrils

I am so funny! I just ate that white stuff out there!

Busy boy!

Look what I found!

Hmmmm...what's in here?

Baggies...not too exciting, but I do like the box.

Hahaha! This is so fun!

Snow and Swings

Camden and I went for a walk on Saturday because we have to take advantage of the "trike weather" while we can!  It was a beautiful day--the air was crisp, the sun was out, but there was still snow on the ground from a couple days before.

Checking out the plants

The grass was still snowy so...

Camden touched it for the first time.

Then we hit up the swings at the school

You can't tell by this serious face, but he LOVES to swing!

A nose scrunch is always a good sign

So high!

(Some) Birthday Pics...Finally!

I have not been in "blogging mode" lately...not sure why.  I apologize for the lack of posts and the delay in the birthday pics, but here are a few (for those of you on Facebook, you can find more there).  Camden had TWO fabulous birthday parties and a mini celebration the night before with all 3 sets of grandparents--he is a blessed baby boy (and so are his parents).  He did great at both of his parties.  The first was at the park with the twins, Colin and Carson, who were born the same day as Camden.  It was a jungle animal theme and the boys all wore shirts with their names and an 01 on the back...so cute!  He was into the cake, but didn't get super messy.  Party number 2 was at our house.  We did a surf theme (Jonathan's great idea) and had some friends over who do not know the twins.  We were so thankful to be able to celebrate this milestone with incredible family and friends.
