New 'hood

At the beginning of December we moved from a townhouse to a house and it has been a great! The two places are less than 3 miles apart, but they feel completely different. We have fabulous neighbors, can walk to the park, and (perhaps best of all) don't share walls with others! As you can see by these pics, Camden is ready to check out his new 'hood...in his PJs and Daddy's shoes!

happy with his harmonica

One of Camden's "surprises" from his advent calendar was a harmonica. He LOVES it! This kid is a fan of any and all musical instruments and this was no exception. He caught on quickly and got super excited when he blew into it and a note came out of it. Here are some pics of our happy little musician!

Expectnet Game

Back in September some of you made some predictions about our baby boy. Thought it would be fun to take a little peek to see how everyone is doing!

Prego-week 36

December 31, 2010 I hit a milestone in my pregnancy...36 weeks! I was one day shy of this mark with Camden, so I was very relieved to make it to this point.

My oh my, look at that tank stretch! I feel (and look) MUCH bigger this time around. I'm starting to get a bit uncomfortable, sleeping is becoming more difficult, and my back isn't feeling great. However, I'm loving each little twist, turn, kick, and punch from our sweet boy!

I figured I should squeeze this post in since I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow!

Mid-December

My parents were here in mid-December (I mentioned this in my Dad's birthday post). It was great spending time with them, being with Dad on his b-day, going on a date with my hubs, hanging out with Dusty and Kimmie (they were here on their "babymoon" and we spent a day with them while Gramps and Grammy hung out with Camden), and celebrating Christmas a tad early. They spoiled their little grandson and his parents too! Thanks for coming, Mom and Dad! We love you!

Present time!

Taking a gift to Mommy

He just woke up from his nap and is seeing his scooter all put together for the first time!

You got to be focused when you ride that thing!

Wheeeee!

"Daddy! Check me out!"

So excited about his train set!

Yay for trains!

Ready to get it out and play!

Mouth open = concentration

He's got the hang of it now, so he's cool and collected on Daddy's lap

Off to see The Civil Wars

Camden is super into tigers. Gramps and Grammy found this stuffed animal and another one (it's orange) wearing a Santa hat. He sleeps with both of them every night.

Grammy

Watching a 3 man band at a Farmer's Market

Christmas Day is extra special because it is a time to celebrate the birthdays of two of the most important individuals in my life--Jesus and my mom! We are so grateful for you, Mom! You are the best! I couldn't pray for a better role model, confidant, and supporter. Thank you for always being my biggest fan! You are an amazing Mom, Mom-in-law, and Grammy. I appreciate and love you so much! Hope you had a wonderful birthday...we missed celebrating with you!

Christmas Day

I am WAY behind on blogging (which seems to be the case the last few months). I'm going to start with Christmas day then work backwards a month or two...at least that's my plan.

So, here are some pics from Christmas (and a few from Christmas Eve). We had a great day! It was just the three of us this year. Although we missed our family, we enjoyed the time together. It's crazy to think that we will be a fam of four next year!

Charlie. We have never gone with this type of tree, but loved it!

Christmas Eve. Opening the last one on his advent calendar from Memaw. He LOVED this! Thank you, Memaw!

Opening his last 'door.' GG bought him this advent calendar and he loved it as well.

Making cookies for Santa!

Christmas morning. "Santa ate all!"

He drank all of his milk too!

Opening his Playtent from Grandpa and Memaw...thank you!

Digging in his stocking.

Who doesn't love a finger puppet?!

Lakers gear for baby brother from Grandpa and Memaw.

The fave...his garbage truck.

Sporting his smock from Papa and GG. Thank you! He's ready to paint!

Car ramp from Mommy and Daddy.

Making cupcakes to celebrate Jesus' birthday.

Trying so hard to be patient!

He ended the day with quite the fall. It's hard to see, but he had quite the bump on his head...poor feller!

I can't believe this little guy will be almost a year old next Christmas!

Merry Christmas from the Bentley Family!
