Papa and GG

We were so happy Papa and GG came to visit us Feb. 3-6...it had been WAY too long! It was very fun having them here (as always). We made a trip to the Denver Aquarium, went shopping, and they played and played and played with Camden! Thanks for coming you two! We miss you already.

Reading one of the books they brought Camden. This one was a hit! Camden kept bringing it to one of them to read over and over again!

Watching the otter at the aquarium...it just jumped!

2 days down

I haven't worked out since the car accident (that was, ahem, over 2 months ago). My physical therapist told me not to because my neck and back needed time to heal. Last week, she "gave me the go" to ease back into it. I didn't quite listen to the "ease" part. I decided it was time to get serious! Yesterday was day 2 with Jillian and, needless to say, I'm sore. It's a good sore, the kind that makes me happy I did something! Hopefully my abs will look like Jill's when I'm done! Wishful thinking!

Our Little (Raga) Muffin Man

Here is our little ragamuffin eating his favorite type of food during his favorite meal...bread and breakfast! He loves anything that is in the bread family, but is really into muffins at the moment. In these pics he is grubbin' on an oat bran applesauce one (made from scratch by Mommy, I might add)! This muffin is after he's already eaten French toast and blueberries...lots of them! He's a growing boy!

Checking it out

A little smile before taking a bite (not sure why this one is sideways, sorry)

"Mommy, do you want some?"

"Hooray for muffins!"

A very serious moment...time to eat!

Happy boy eating his muffin

He has a mouthful, folks!

Eating is so fun!

Here he is doing his silly fake laugh (again, not sure why it's sideways)

Tuckered out

At the beginning of this month our little guy was not feeling well. Between coughing throughout the day and night (disrupting his sleep) and a little stomach bug that caused him to lose his appetite, he was out of steam. He tried so hard to be in a good mood and wanted to play, but didn't have much energy to do so. Camden loves this candy dish (mainly because it has a lid), so he was going to do his best to have fun with it!

So tired, but trying to pull the lid off

Got it! You can tell by his face that he is out of it. Poor thing!

Break time!

A little smile :)

It's way too much work to sit up to get that lid, so I'll just lay here.

Socks & Tea

We're heading back to December (as you can tell by Camden's PJs and the towel) when Camden was, once again, playing in the kitchen. He has this thing about items on the stovetop...if we are using it, he wants it. So, after I finished making some tea (and the pot cooled off, of course) I handed the kettle over to the little man.

Hmmm...how do I get this lid off?

Got it! Now it's time to put the sock inside.

Then I'll take the sock out (I love to put things in and take them out...repeatedly)

Daddy, check it out! This sock was in the teapot!

Do you want a closer look, Daddy? I'll bring it to you.

We can't forget the lid!

The Neb

Camden has been using a nebulizer since the beginning of this month. Our pediatrician decided to give this a whirl after finding out (through an upper GI) he is not suffering from reflux. So, this was an attempt to cure that cough of his--the one he's had since August. We are VERY happy to report it's working! We started the neb the day before we (Jonathan and me) left for Tucson, then my mom took over. She did a great job of setting up a little routine for Camden so he wouldn't be scared of the mask. He actually gets excited when we tell him, "It's time for your medicine" now. Thanks Grammy!

We read books while he's doing his "treatment" because it has to be on there for 15 minutes

Camden looks at pictures of animals while Mommy and Daddy make the sounds and tell him the names

It looks really sad, but we are so thankful he is relaxed...it makes it much easier!
